So now have full bank account with OD and Vanquis and Aqua on the way..thanks everyone for advice on what to apply for.

Also had fab shopping day today...I had won £450 of House of Fraser vouchers to spend and the services of a personal shopper so went mad with clothes shopping today...well not that mad as still came away with £100 of the vouchers to spend at a later date. if you have not posted letter yet look along bottom and it will say amount eg 250

Or if it's like Barclaycard, you only find out your limit when you receive the card itself.

Hi everyone
Been reading the posts at work but not had chance to post myself, anyway yesterday during lunch i applied for additions catalogue and littlewoods got accepted £450 and £250 and.......my order from additions arrived today! Pretty quick! Thing is i have an outstanding default with littlewoods from 05 registered on experian, so i might do what Darcy did and ring them with an offer of payment in exchange for removal of default as the circumstances were that i had moved from the address after a relationship break up. Worth a try do you think or perhaps too optimistic?
