Hi all-just a quick hello cos my day has been pants. How fantastic more people are getting accepted for accounts etc. As for the mo i cant see that the credit crunch is having much of an effect on the sub prime market, have to wait and see tho! x

Hi All
Got a Vanquis card 3 weeks ago so can I join?
Brief history, 3 defaults on file from 2004/2005 no missed payments since.
Nat West Advantage Gold, cheque book but solo card.
3 Account with Jd Williams group, 2 small balance, 1 in credit.
Any suggestions to further increase my credit score appreciated.
Reading this thread has really inspired me to try to really build a strong rating

Hi,

Just sharing some information with fellow mbna card holders.

I received first statement a few weeks ago and promptly paid full balance. I also have direct debit set up and notice today that the direct debit has been taken. I half expected this as I notice the statement mentions that direct debit will be taken regardless of extra payments made but thought I best mention it to make sure others are aware of it.

Sharon pants day for me a well, some trollop in waitrose car park scraped my car's back bumper and now i have a line of blue paint on my lovely shiny bumper. anyone got any tips other than t-cut for removing it. i cannot use t-cut the smell makes me feel sick. i'm now in process of checking all blue cars for evidence lol.

sorry to hear that. i would have been well annoyed! try this american product called QUIXX Car Scatch Remover. I've used it on my E-class to remove a thin scratch on the door and it kinda did the job.
