My Vanquis card has just arrived too although it only has a £250 limit. It's the 1st visa card i've had in a while though. My cap 1 is a mastercard and i have an electron and solo for my bank accs.

I will be using Vanquis for petrol and shopping, but paying money straight back. I just need to sort out details to make online payments.

My friend just told me her cap 1 is £100 spent £80 paid off next day and the week after spent 60 and paid off the next day got her statement and been charged an over the limit fee. When she rang up to query it they said she'd spent more than £100 which is her limit. I didn't realise they did this.

I just applied to MINT for some stupid reason, I have enough credit cards to be going on with lol, even if they are sub prime...I even have the 2k flybe card, so why am i doing this lol!

Its just too easy i said that last year no more apps for a year, i have 27 registered on experian how bad is that.

That sounds wierd. Had she checked the payments had registered? If they had i would be putting a complaint in writing with confirmation of payments and the balance. Cheeky devils.

I think I've applied for maybe 8 cards or so in the past several weeks, so I best stop now.

My cred score is only on 738 or something stupid so i want that going up not down lol

well, i applied for a littlewoods account the other day on the back of this forum, nearly fainted with shock!!! anyway last night i was in a good mood united just beat celitic and thought i would apply to jacamo and got accepted for £125 :eek: not alot i no but still good:D !!

nice one. Yeah same i applied for littlewoods off the advise here, and got £600 limit! Couldnt believe me eyes !

I am back with the good news that Vanquis have approved me with £500 limit so i can start to repair my rating.

The wierd thing si is that i tried to get my experian report but it wouldnt accept my debit card or anything so i thought there was no chance of getting it but im pleased and am not going to abuse this card but pay it off every single month in full. They tried to offer me all sorts of cash advances but i was one step ahead and said no.
