I have Bank of scotland classic (£250)
MBNA (£500)
Capital One (£1000)

I had big fat NO's from:

Tesco
Mint
Amex
Monument

and am waiting to hear from Flybe (probably a no too)

I have two settled defaults for small amounts from 2005 and for some reason a catalogue account which is not updating so still shows balance owing and arrangement to pay. Experian and Equifax hold exactly the same data so two poo files :rotfl:

Ah well .. thought I would share in the hope it might help others, I also must stop applying (for a few months anyway!!)

Flybe did not search experian but I only have one free report left with equifax and am saving that for a few months time (trying to get files cleaned up). I can't say whether or not they looked at equifax because of that but from Undergrounds thread it would appear that Sygma use equifax.

Perhaps they search experian if they don't get enough from equifax?

Fly Be searched my Equifax file showing search by Creation Finance Services and then additional address search a week later Sygma Bank.

tesco said online that i would get a £400 limit but awaiting a few checks tho. also applyed for a AMEX but awaiting on reply form that 2 but will prob be declined.

how much does it cost for each search a company does is it a few pence or pounds?

It's weird if you read back some posts, FlyBe didn't search equifax for some people but did for others, i don't understand that..

Yeah it's weird , I have read that some peoples Equifax file don't show any searches by 'Sygma/Flybe '. Everything else show's up . Who do 'Tesco' search?
