RE the Welcome Finance account - once you've defaulted on an agreement then it won't be updated until it is settled (whether you pay it off in full or give a full and final settlement). Unfortunately once it's marked as defaulted even though you're still making payments it will show as defaulted until it's settled. This is what I learnt as I had the same thing with an HSBC account.
If you no longer use the Studio account then cancel it.
What are the settled dates of your CCJs?
It is scary when you read your credit report for the first time - but you just have to remember that it won't get any worse and that it will improve over time.
Hi Sammy,
Thanks for your advice.
I think it said 2006 if that helps any.
I'm gonna leave it till after christmas and then check it again and see if there is much improvement:eek: Debts: Capitalone £0, Vanquis £220, LX Direct £1197, Mutual £1107, JD Williams £23 :eek:0 -

I applied for the Flybe over 2 weeks ago still no "Dear John" or "Okay John" letter. Am thinking they may be waiting to get some sort of resolution to the Banking Crisis as they are a bank.
I have already got a Vanquis so whats next to apply for? Not Capital One or MBNA (unless their records don't go back that far? I have had problems with them over 10 years ago. Have a clean record now although limited credit report situaition.
Evening all,
I think Flybe might be sitting it out then, or maybe theyv just been inundated with applications.
As for Cap1 and MBNA-dont they judge you on your current situation? I dont know if previous history would affect you now, suppose it goes on how far back their records go. Its great you have a clear record now, most of us are still trying to achieve this so well done.:j
Listen-done a daft thing on Sat eve after a few glasses of soft and fruity, appied for vanquis card, went right the way through application process and then just as waiting for decision it went on go slow so i just exited. Today i got an email with a copy of credit agreement, also saying when i applied it would have stated if i were successful and what my limit would be-this agreement does not confirm acceptance???? Now what? Dont know if i have been accepted or not. They not checked experian either. If we all took an eye for an eye the world would be blind-(someone said that somewhere) :T
