hi all,

does anyone know when cap 1 do the credit limit increases?? i had one on my 4th statement from 100 to 300, going on holiday in oct and rang them today to ask if they can increase the limit but they said they dont do it by request i have to wait till they have periodiacally looked at account!
its now another 3 months since the limit increase but when i asked the guy when do they look at the accounts he didnt know! so bit confused really i thought you could ring and ask although i know they may not give one.

There is no set guideline. I last had my increase from £200 to £500 in November 2006, and haven't heard a word since. I did threaten to close my account, and they gave me a £50 incentive to stay (by cheque). All my other c/c have had credit limit increases above and beyond my Cap1 limit. The only reason I keep it open is because I've had the account since 2006 and all those green ticks count!

Can anyone tell me if 24 studio report to the cras and if you have been accepted for one catalogue does that hold you in good stead for others? i.e does it depend on which cra they use and/or having other accounts open?
Hope that not a stupid question-forgive me i am new.

i have a studio account they report to all three and every payment i have made each month they have increased my limit by £50 i started on £80 and now on £450
