Thanks for your help. Though, usually when I get a 'we will let you know' its almost always a decline' Usually if I get accepted it says it instantly.

So I guess I should still wait then?

I've just recieved another email, saying the same as the one I got this morning but instead of saying we will let you know within 24 hours, it now says 48 hours?

Did anyone else get two emails?

Can i join your special club please? Been hanging around a while looking at the threads(absolutely brilliant) and gained some great advice(thought i would now come out of the shadows). I applied for the cap1 card and mbna and been accepted for both. Had it not been for this site i would never have dared to try for a credit card!! Checked my file on experian but too scared to check equifax. Score on experian is 607. Noticed they have recorded everything twice(not searches) but 1 default and 1 ccj is showing as 2!????
How do i contact the cra about this-is it best to put in writing? Any advice greatly appreciated :A .......and please keep this going guys- it really is the best!!xxxxxxx

Thanks Emmy-now i have a reply-feel like one of the lads-so to speak. Just going to use them for building up score though had my fingers burnt too many times before! must be getting all big an grown up now!

Still waiting to hear Darcy, they have done a credit search alsthough on credit file it says credit enquiry. had a barclaycard in past quite a good card but closed it last december.
