I done two balance transfers on the Flybe card on the 13th September, they are still not showing on my vanquis or aqua accounts, so prepare to give them the maximum time before crediting the money... Even though my statement with flybe shows the transfers on it!

No, it hasn't. I'm starting to get a bit worried now as I have £800 more debt than I did two weeks ago unless it shows soon :eek:

I transfered £350 to aqua on the 13th, and £450 to vanquis on the 14th to clear both cards. I received a letter on the 19th telling me that the vanquis one was being processed (no mention of aqua) but my statement has both transfers showing from the 16th.

I have been told that it can take up to 14 working days, so if my accounts still aren't showing as clear on tuesday I need to find out what has happened.

I won enough money to clear my debts last week. If only I'd known, I'd never have bothered

Quick question, when I got my MBNA I set up a D/D to take full payment, however when i checked online tonight a statementhad been generated but no mention of D/D just minimum payment Do I have to wait for paper statement to confirm D/D.

Anyone else got any more SP news.

I've currently got a Vanquis card (£500 limit, £100 spent) and I've just applied for a Flybe and also a Capital One card, both instances they said it will take 7-10 days for a decision!! :huh:

I just hope one or both come back yes.

Anyway, my situation is I've got a mortgage which is all up to date, I did have a few nasties on my credit reference but cleared them up a few months ago!! At the moment though I'm £210 in the red at Natwest due to some Advantage Gold account I was basically mis-sold by a Natwest muppet. Me being a tad stubborn I am refusing to pay any monies to them as they have kept putting bank charges on this account even though they made numerous errors, which I'm not being held accountable for! :mad:

I've just got a A&L bank account but have been refused a mobile contract with Orange....hmmmm!!

yes kiora the rule of thumb with virgin/mbna is if it,s not mentioned on your statement that your payment is going to be taken out by Direct Debit then it,s not going out and you should pay another way to avoid fees..

Thanks for that phoned their customer services just to make sure and they are taking full amount by D/D on 21st Oct, which is due date so that is fine by me at least it will clear it
