Problem with MBNA

Just sorting thru all my mail etc and came across some from MBNA saying thank you for selecting the payment protection cover etc. I never ticked this box cause i decided againest it.

What can i do about this? Not a good start to a new card

Good News - got a letter today from Lowell saying that they will remove my default off my credit files!!!

Don't mess with the b***h cos the b***h bites back lol!!!!

Anyway I'm pleased I've got enough kosha defaults on there without having any non-kosher ones put in by DCAs lol

Darcy, when dod you get your A&L stuff?? I want mine lol

I found it really easy getting a default removed by lowell. Just contact experain and made a dispute and they contacted lowell and next i hear back they will remove it. simple. shame clydesdale bank arent playing ball tho with there default.

Have read through most of the posts ( only took 2 hours!)

Have a very ugly credit file, which I am working hard on. We are hoping to buy our house in about 5 years time, and are keen to set about improving our awful credit file.

Just applied online for an Aqua card, and got an immediate acceptance message (with an estimated £250 limit). It is possible this "offer" will be revoked once they look into it further ( if they do) or can I take it that we have actually been successful?

Yes, CL was on letter along with the CC. We only applied at the beginning of the week, so well impressed!!

ooo i do hope so! I think it was the "estimated" limit that made me wonder!

But it did deffo say "successful"

man i need to get this ccj removed like 3 months ago i have a really nice house lined up and i cant really afford it with the ccj as it will put an extra £10,000 (just under) ontop of the end figure

Ours is just our council house we want to buy, but its perfect, a lovely bungalow, and in a little village, and as youngest is disabled, we want to try to buy it ...eventually. Feel like £300 a month rent is money being thrown away, and as we qualify for max discount, if we can get a decent mortgage it wouldnt be too much dearer to buy, as we would get it very cheaply . Best of luck getting your CCJ removed x
