Just sorting thru all my mail etc and came across some from MBNA saying thank you for selecting the payment protection cover etc. I never ticked this box cause i decided againest it.

What can i do about this? Not a good start to a new card

Call the Customer services and they will cancel the cover. My Wife works for MBNA so any probs let me know

IF they say that they cannot cancel it as Insurance Services are closed tell them to email PPC cancellations as its on their internal email list.

THANKS oh sorry yeah my mates dad has just bought his house from the council and he ended up paying £20 a month extra ontop of his rent as he lived there for quite a while!!

I just got accepted straight away for this, I was expecting to have to wait 7-10 days, have other people been accepted straight away?

well no nasties as such but I have got a heck of a lot of previous searches on my file as dumb !!! me didnt realise that a 'footprint' was left whenever you applied for something.

It doesnt mention credit limit though.

no its been mentioned in here before that you get your limit when you get the card i think that this is just a flybe thing!

oh okay well thats fair enough I guess, I was just surprised I got accepted straight away as it says 7-10 days before you apply. And I was turned down by mbna which a lot of folks seem to get accepted for, it is all very confusing isnt it?
