    Got my ID documents back from HSBC today and although the email previously said I had been successful, the letter today says they are still processing my application ... So it's still a case of wait and see ... :confused:

    You could re-open another cash account with them, I think if you opened a the cash account when it was just a cash card then they may not have reported to the CRA but with the introduction of the Visa debit they may have started rpeorting then? :confused:

    The same thing happens with my Next Directory account ... It doesn't show up on any of my credit files ...

    oh right i had my account for around 3 years so maybe thats why!

    hey mr p i just payed my last default that will mean all my outstanding debt on 2 defaults and a ccj will be payed do you really think its worth appealing the rejections from cap 1 and vanquis and has anyone had a decision overturned (well once it has all been updated with cra's)

    Yes, give it a go, send them a letter and some photo copies of the credit file to say they have been satisfied.
