Thanks Emmy, I hope not :)

I'm just really surprised as I have defaults on my file. Got a Cap 1 and Vanquis a couple of months ago and have been very good with them. But I've never had such a high limit :D

No idea what the APR is. I used the link from Darcy so is that the 19%. Even better if so :D

That's amazing S_G  Does leave me wondering though how they make their decisions because it can't solely be based with what is on our files otherwise a lot more with similar history would be getting same result:confused:

    I know

The only thing I can think of is that I used to work for a company where products could be bought on Black Horse finance. And we were always told that the more land line numbers there were (home, work) then the better the chance. Also, if the applicant had other credit cards with available balances that also helped. And I guess if you're a home owner with a decent salary that can't hurt

    And then there's also pot luck???? I'm just surprised as I have a Cap 1 with a £1000 limit (:D ), but a Vanquis with a £250 limit.

    Lenders work in mysterious ways.....

Well done to everyone who got the card. I received my credit report and I can see that I have a CCJ and Default that are not showing satisified even though they ARE....arhhhhhhhhhhhh. So I am off to fix that. Maybe I will have better luck next time.

I had that problem too. My CCJ wasn't showing as satisfied at the beginning of this year even though I had paid it back in 2004 !!!!!

    That's frustrating

Get it fixed and that should help loads if they're satisfied. Good luck :D

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

That blows Mr P. I've been reading the last few pages on here and the more I think about it the more I don't think I'm gonna get the card. I've checked my email and no confirmation there so I guess I'll just have to wait and see if anything turns up in the post??

Sorry to hear that. I'm sure they'll think twice before declining you when all the searches drop off from your credit files. In the mean time you really should stop hitting the apply button and enjoy the cards you currently have. ;)

    have a nice evening

i am with you on that one, im not going to pay £100 to get this credit card, ive decided im going to wait a bit longer to see what i might end up with after xmas, and just chug along with the 2 cards i have for now. i just feel it makes more sense for me to wait and see what else i could get without being so greedy in the meantime lol
