i bloody hope so when i rang they said that i might even get a 0% deal in 6 months if my account is managed well trust me it will be! im not bothered about 0% right now as long as i am on the ladder i am happy but in a years time i will hopefully have a nice string of 0's and a limit increase but thats for then and right now im overjoyedyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0

i still cant believe i am accepted i just rang them up just to make sure that it was not a mistake £500 limit and capital one said no subprime lender not even willing to give me a chance with £100 oh well not bothered now

i honestly think its a lottery hubbys credit file is fine but cant get vanquis or any other card except cap one and aqua. i on the other hand have been accepted for vanquis with bad credit file! so i reckon its pot luck in some ways not sure if im right on that but thats how it feels.self confessed 80's throwback:D

Fantastic news mate and thanks for posting because I just tried them after reading this and have also been accepted!!!
It's not the same deal as you though, It asked me to call them after applying and the woman explained that they cannot offer me the silver mastercard but they can offer a Visa with a £500 limit & 29% apr but I have to sign some forms and pay a £100 deposit. Apparently if I keep it up for 6 months then I'll be upgraded to a decent card and my £100 will be returned.
So that's a Vanquis 4 months ago, Capital one last week & now MBNA today! :T Strange thing is, Aqua will not touch me!
I think the main thing now is to stop applying, I have 41 searches in the last year, about half in the last 2 months. I reckon if I use all three cards wisely and clear the balance and do not apply for a full 6 months then come next Feb I'll be in 0% territory! :j

great news i was lucky to get a 19.9% but if you are wanting a credit card on the subprime side i think mbna is worth a try i cant get onto equifax but they have checked experian the least best file of mine and still acccepted meyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0
