Hi was that Vanquis or MBNA?

MBNA - I applied for the Classic Mastercard (silver one) at the end of the application it asked me to call them to confirm some details, that's when I was offered this other card.

Well done Darcy that's great news :D I'm really really tempted to apply but not sure. I currently have Cap One and Vanquis which I got a couple of months ago and a Halifax Classic that I've had for years. But I'm worried when I come to remortgage next year that a) there are too many searches on my file and B) I may have "too much" credit available!! It's a catch 22!! Well done on your success :D

    Fantastic news :j:j

I had a card with MBNA back in my uni days (given £1500 limit straightaway!) Needless to say I was not a very good girl with it and they took it back!!

I have learnt my lesson now so I might try them in 6 months or so!

Anyway, Congrats on the card - You deserve the break

they are on the ball matey, best advice is make sure Direct Debit is set up if you pay that way i no you have to have DD if you have a 0% ard so i,m not sure if you have to have DD but it,s best anyways. online site is sound and bill arrive on time. Ive only been with MBNA 4 months so not sure when they do an increase. mbna are on the ball so they get under some peoples skin, their CS dept are just run of the mill like all other credit card CS departments and thats about it..
