It will be interesting to see this thread in 12 months time just to see everybodies progress, my stoozing plan is in place and when my credit files are squeaky clean and I have a healthy page of well managed credit accounts, I am going for the stooze in the following order: Egg Money as a mule card, as many of the MBNA family @ 0% for 12 months as possible, and get a 0% card for normal credit card use, so if i can stooze around £15K i will stand to make a profit of £975, then my aim is to double or triple the ammount that I can get to stooze for 2010, we shall see anyway.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? It's good that you mention the Stoozers, Proliant, they're like the older boys at school and we're the lowly first-years :-)
Also gives me another chance to mention a top stoozing tip from them -which is always APPEAL credit card rejections rather than reapply - even if it's a few months later.
You don't get hit with a second credit check with an appeal whereas you are more than likely to with a reapplication.
And the Stoozers are adamant that appeals are far more succesful than reapplications.0 -
hey guys can you tell me the score on your credit file when you were accepted for you credit cards
justy once my ccj is marked as paid i will be appealing my applications as soon as i thank everyone on this thread you guys seem to be the only ones to help out on question and without the sarcasm as some kn0b's do on hereyou cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0 -
It's not an exact science but I applied for my Vanquis Card in the beginning of Feb and my Experian score was 350.
I'm intending to appeal my Cap One rejection this week if my score is 550 plus.0 -
i have a score of 410 and i was refused with 3 active accounts all in the green so when the ccj marked as paid and default paid off tomorrow there will be appeals going in!you cant change yesterdaybut you can make tomorrow better0

If you want to try a couple of other catalogues Justy, try the JD Williams family of catalogues: Jacamo, Fashion World, Simply Be, Shoe Taylor, Home Essentials, etc, they check Experian only but report to all three CRA's. If your Equifax file is ok try Sygma Bank family of cards, JJB, The Accessory Card, Flybe, Adams etc, they only check Equifax and give you Accpet, Refer or Decline online decision.Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? That's the spirit, Darcy.
The score is just a CRA thing anyway - the finance companies have their own scoring system.0 -
