Karma, what is the money laundering about. Sounds serious

I myself shall be sending off a standard letter to Experian to check mine as I have not had a look for a year now and want to see if it could handle another application. I can't imagine it being any worse than it was at last look

I can confirm that every attempt to contact Proliant, MR P has been made and it remains to be seen if he will return as he gives great advice.

I would like to let everyone know that the two insane posters that tried to disrupt this forum have been reported and action against them have been requested.

I ask that no one replies to any posts made by the two numptys again, even if they seem or appear useful posts as it clearly is there intention to cause trouble.

    Thank you.

and your continued arrogance astounds me.

There is only one person who is disrupting this thread now and indeed across the forums and its you, with your campaign to hound a user from MSE.

    To quote yourself....

Your conduct is clearly inappropriate and will not be tolerated on this forum.

If I were you I'd contemplate the above and ask yourself if your conduct is appropriate and why your posts have been deleted.

I didn't, I thought it was well justified and long overdue, the individual concerned thinks it is OK to call people " numptys" and " insane " and yet has at the same time, the temerity to accuse others of being abusive.

Oh for God's sake - is there any danger this thread actually being used for it's intended purpose or will these childish exchanges continue to ruin it?

So if everyone has had their two pence worth, perhaps we can get back to business.

    Hello,

I am a former 'lurker'! I was wondering, in the spirit of 'getting back to business'...... Martins latest newsletter which arrived this morning was talking about 'sub prime' credit cards and I checked on Moneysupermarket for the recommendations for my situation and it came up with the following...:

    The Vanquis @ 39.9% typical
    Barclaycard Initial @ 27.9%
Halifax Standard @ 27.9% (standard so bit worrying...!)
    Capital One Classic @ 34.9%

Our situation is in a nutshell, things were going great for a few years, we had loads of credit, mortgage, cards, car HP etc but then had our daughter. Sold house, car and most things worth having to afford her nursery fees as couldnt afford for me to give up work. Then along came our son the 'accident'! He put the kybosh on life as we knew it as would cost me more in childcare for the 2 of them than I brought home!! We struggled on, making min repayments and increasing our already outlandish overdraft til one day I accepted the inevitable, that we were sinking!! Made an app for 2 months time with the appropriate expert at the CAB and started making the difficult calls to our creditors. That was last October and to date all but one of the debts have gone to outside companies and we are making payments. The last one, an Argos account keeps changing companies..... have been contacted by 4 different companies so far and I always respond, but get nothing back!! So, my question to whatever of your experts may be left....;) is do you think it is too soon to attempt to rebuild our credit? We only have defaults against us but so far (touch wood and everything crossed) no CCJ's.
Many thanks and may I say, that I think these forums are wonderful and the sharing spirit that has so far been hugely evident should be treasured and nurtured and not allowed to fade. I also hope that doesnt come accross as patronising as that is not how it is intended. And I shall now shut up!!
    Thanks again.
