Such a shame a useful, informative and friendly thread has degenerated into this.

Come back PROLIANT, those who matter value your contribution to MSE and particularly to this immensely popular thread.

Back on the subject I got an immediate score decline for an HSBC credit card after I read it went through Callcredit and applied. Not sure if this was an address issue I had to enter it manually, I might try and find out when I get the decline letter in the post, they told me it was something to do with the information from Experian over the phone but they have not used them I just checked.

I am not "sub-prime" anymore but know the problems it brings I started out with a deposit secured Capital One card and a Next Directory and in 3 years have slowly built it up, I think the biggest jump was when I applied for GE Money Mastercard and they gave me a limit of £2000 after that everyone else wanted to chuck the stuff at me. Keep at it.

I think that we should not answer the tiresome posters , as Nightowl states and get back to matters in hand .This site will always be open to tiresome people .

Oh seriously, some ppl need to get a life! or maybe you need to get additional education, being as this thread is titled sub prime, and you are doing nothing to contribute to the fact.
I myself am a foreigner, and ive not come across anything that can be called 'racist' in this thread, i also agree with some of what Mr P has to say - i think youre on a losing battle, therefore you scream out what you think you cant lose with by calling someone a racist! pathetic and idiotic seem to spring to mind, now why you dont run along back to the gutter where youve obviously appeared from, or is the fact that schools and colleges are on holiday the reasons why youre both hanging around threads trying to wind people up?

Mr P - you are not a racist, take it from me, as ive already said, im not offended by anything youve put anywhere so get your butt back in here where it belongs :)
