The more the better, as long as you manage them correctly, apply for some catalogues as well, dont have to use them though, if you just leave them they update all three CRA's with strings of [0] on your file anyway. Good luck.
Seriously? I thought if I applied for too many things it would show up as a bad thing? I'm tempted to try for a Vanquis card as well. Chances are it wouldn't be used frequently. I just think it's about time I repaired the mess I made of my rating when I was as student.Fat, female and fabulous :rolleyes:

Yes it does dammage your credit only for a short time, i am not advising that you go and apply for loads of stuff, but have a few active "green" accounts.random_fat_bird wrote: »Seriously? My new Vanquis card arrived today, they have set my limit @ £250 @ 34.08% APR. So now it is all the way to May 2009 when hopefully MBNA will give me a whopper limit and 0% so I can have a bash at this stoozing carry on.
