Tesco misprice policy discussion area

Congrats those who got the PC's but what if Tesco is monitoring this thread, eg you have gone got your PC and you are waiting a few days before asking for a refund ? could they draft something eg a blanket policy/response ?
I am assuming that it is stickered at the lower price but is scanning through at a higher one, therefore by showing the packaging you can prove that it is a misprice ? However, what if they argued that at approx 4pm on Saturday all stores changed their price to the higher one and you are merely just trying it on because when you bought yours the price was indeed the higher one ? Just a thought.I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Yeah I was worried they might catch on Tesco, come Monday. So I went back to mine today, and they tried just refunding me the difference. I then explained to them their policy (obviously they tried to not mention that) which i read out to them as it was in full view, behind the customer service desk. So I have had my £448 refunded to my card, with something weird written next to the price on my reciept - was kinda hoping I could get it exchanged, even if it was for store credit, cos I could do with a brand new tv instead!
Thanks though guys, Iam probably going to strip mine and the new computer down, and will take the best bit from both, and sell the remains on ebay. Gonna ask round work too if anyone is in need of a 17" monitor!
ps. Is there a way I could take it back saying I don't want it? I think the girl has written 'R o/c' - refund overcharged I guess, but where does it stand if I don't want the computer. Do they have to take it back? Thanks, advice would be handy here.0 -

Girlfriend wasnt impressed as it wouldn't fit in the boot of my megane coupe so she had to sit in the back. Classic0 -

only just seen this! how diappointing... will still try to find one tomorrow though...It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -

(OK, it may be at the lower price marked on the box, but you'll still get your goodies).
You never know, they may even stick the PC back on the shelf for another MSEr to snap up!0 -
We have definitely exceeded our 'aim' to receive more in refunds in a month than we spend on groceries - Tee Hee.
Todays booty.....
Still no pc...but visited a new store and found £90 worth of overpriced cd's dvd's and books...CS were NOT amused... and it's not as if we bought loads of the same item, in fact only 2 were the same book. Astounding.
Also got a further £74 at the local stores...all were items they had assured me they would rectify last week - pah yeah right! Not that I'm complaining...my little girl has 20 Disney DVD's she wouldn't have if it wasnt for exchanging overpriced ones at Tesco's!
BTW if Tesco really are reading this thread and the cpjackson site - they are obviously not acting on the information as these same overcharges are going on forever!0 -
--Tony-- wrote:If anyone is interested I scanned the bigger computer the one marked on the box at £498 and it scans at £349. Now this is not going to be free but at £150 off the marked price could be a bargin for anyone wanting a PC for christmas.
This one is in a masive box, you should have seen me at the scanner, I had to have help to guide it to the right location.
:rotfl: Can just imagine you now that must have been some site;)Darren0
