Edit : from misprice thread

Has yours got price on box and SEL ? If only SEL I do hope that you have taken something as evidence. Although it was nice to think of us all if it was only the SEL, they're dead easy to remove, and thus avoid R&R.

As for the person behind your brother, what an absolute w***er !! I'd have been well cheesed off !! Obviously totally unaware of the R&R policy
Mine had the price printed on the box......I just observed that it also had a misleading SEL (confirmed today).

As for my brother - I know how he felt towards her....but this person was only trying to help (unless it was a new Tesco ploy :) ).

If anyone wants to try and bag one of these buy it TODAY.....and wait a day or so for the refund.

Has anyone bought one today (Sunday) ?

Thanks

Yes, Me, at 10.15 this morning!
Got a report just now from my friend that Milton Keynes do not have the offending item! It is the definitely the £349.93 PC not the £399 one (or close to that).

(JGJet) What store?
Barhill Extra, near Cambridge. 3 left at store after one had fallen into my trolley!

I am passing 2 Tesco's today on the way to pick my girlfriend up from work. Is there anything I need to be aware of regarding this policy? Is it going to require a lot of arguing with the manager or do they not have a leg to stand on?

You will get your money back, it's the policy rule.
But if you do manage to grab one, could report back and perhaps wait till tomorrow for the refund, this way it will give other MSE's the chance to grab one!

:D

I'm away until Thursday so I won't be able to return it for a refund until Friday I would imagine. Does the standard 14 day period apply?

Hmm thats weird someone just posted about getting one and it disappeared. Whats all that about?

Im just about to leave. If I manage to get one then someone can have the monitor for nothing if they arrange delivery or collect themselves. I have no need for it whatsoever.

Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: For legal reasons I have to discourage swapping, buying and selling on the forum (please see this rule). While it can be a very useful way of saving money it relies on a certain amount of trust between members and as such can cause problems (and has in the past). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
• Just back from tesco aberdeen, AND I GOT ONE! Paid 448 for it, so will take it back and get my refund! Yay!! Just don't want much arguing, just want it to go smoothly! Are people going to take the computer back into the store with them? I guess so as it has a vague description on the reciept! My stores open 24hrs, even on sunday so may take it back later this evening as I am working throughout the week.
