The bulk buying limit is 6 items at Tesco, though I always get 12 on BOGOFs (even though you're not supposed to) - otherwise the free items aren't really free are they?
I somehow doubt that the bulk buy limit can be down to two items now - if it is they I really hope they enforce it becasue it will hurt their business really badly :rotfl:
Was it a hand written sign or a proper dark blue one?
Also at my store there is a computer printed notice (ie done locally) about the bulk buy limit: its a few more items for food than for non food. Cant remember exactly, but I think the non food was 2 items. It is DEFINITELY to limit refunds, as it goes on to say that their liability for replacing is limited to the bulk buy limit.(or words to that effect). It wasnt me guv, never bought more than two misprices and more often just one!]
I think the last time there was a fuss about bulk buying was the Beef in Gravy incident back in August, and that is when they made up a rule about it.
this is a typed out sign saying bulk buying policy is 2 items, i really do think this is to get out of refunds, interestingly the tescos one mile away from this other tescos did not have a bulk buy limit on display
Another day another R&R
