Price has been changed at Bar Hill - sel shows the right price.
Well done to all who got one though :beer:0 -
None in Tesco Stevenage, Baldock or Hatfield.
Also Baldock Tesco's seem to have handily broken both there scanners as they have not been working for weeks0 -
If anyone is interested I scanned the bigger computer the one marked on the box at £498 and it scans at £349. Now this is not going to be free but at £150 off the marked price could be a bargin for anyone wanting a PC for christmas.
This one is in a masive box, you should have seen me at the scanner, I had to have help to guide it to the right location..0 -
Just had serious issues on a visit this afternoon. It resulted in the customer service woman being pulled away by a colleague and a manager having to apologise. I was told 'I know who you are, you have asked for a refund before'. Letter to head office on its way now. As a sharholder I am not at all impressed to be treated like that, let alone as a customer.0

No sign of the CRT PC only one with LCD, drat and double drat !
The LCD ones seem to have price directly next to bar-code, is the bar code away from price on the other model ? If it is as per to the LCD model it is astonishing that it has gone through the till without the checkout person noticing, any piccies of bar code location against price location ??
Very exciting even though did not get a look in, planning strategy to get it through the tills, etc.Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

Gotta love it! So what was your crime? A piece of cheese that was wrong AGAIN, or a bit of lamb that was wron AGAIN? Beef AGAIN? A cd AGAIN? Fruit and veggies AGAIN?
The repeat offence is theirs, not yours.Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Just think of the boxing on TV when you read this, or one of the Rocky films :
In the red corner weighing in a Xlbs the master of disaster (tescos pricing), the king of sting (CDs, Diary Products, Meats, etc), and the reigning consumer champion in the area.
Crowd goes wild cheering and clapping. :j
In the blue corner weighing in at a hefty £940 million profit for the first 24 weeks of trading, the master of overcharging, the king of fobbing off consumers with pathetic excuses. The one the only Tescos CS representative.
Crowd booing loudly. :mad:Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

Bad luck Addy!
Someone else must have been in since me and got a refund!
Then again maybe HO has emailed the stores and they've "bolted the stable doors". A few "horses" got away first though!
Anyone else got one from Bar Hill today?
There was a £598 (approx.) PC scanning wrongly at £498.
Another friend reports none of that type at Hampton Extra at Peterborough. It seems there is a similar PC package but with a printer included for £399.Keep SmilingSite member number 24

Maybe they have got a bit worried that mulitple R&R's have been hovering round the PC's, buying them with big grins, trolleying them round to scanners and then jumping and running around the store with delight
Or if it ain't scanned at the higher price breaking down in the store in tears
Concerned person comes over while MSEr sobbing on the floor, 'what's wrong' reply 'I brought this over to the scanner and it's scanned at the lowest price on display ...... booo hooooo arghhh', concerned customer 'oh Umm best get off need to water the daffodils .. .bye'Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.
