Clocked these in Stockport with 349.93 on box, happily took to price checker but was mortified when it went thru at 349.93.. Gutted .gotAliciaKeys DVD anyway!!!! does this mean they ve changed it centrally at the lower price

If only you had seen me trying to lift the box !!!!

Nope.

The one in question is a Celeron D 330, with 256 Mb of RAM and an 80 Gb HDD. (so lower specced all round)

Yup it is, it's not on the website.

Just back from my local store (Aberdeen) and they have some! When did you check the price taradog? They also have them labelled up at £448

Nah I didn't they looked pretty big and at the time I was there, there were only a few people there. Don't know where the scanner would be too, just moved to Aberdeen and was first trip to Tesco

I might try my local Tesco in the morning, but am afraid if it comes up at the correct price, l need to think of an excuse not to go ahead with the purchase

Yeah my thoughts entirely... how do you say 'no i want it at the higher price' - maybe i was looking to spend £450 on a pc, and i can get more for my money elsewhere...

If it comes up at the correct price, I think I will try the "look through wallet oh forgot credit card trick".

I will see if l have the guts tomorrow.
