None in St Helens or Prescott, only the £498 one.

But i did get an Italian cookery book. Thanks for that. Bought it in Prescott, the cs girl took all the £12.97 stickers of them after she gave me my refund.

I then went to St helens and asked them to change it for another book that i wanted.

Well done to all who got computers.
  • Well.

I've been to leyland, southport, and ormskirk.

    None

Well no PC's to be had at our local extra's either :(

We did manage to bag £80 worth of refunds on CD"s and books though including 3 of the andalucia books which we managed to exchange at other stores for dvd's :)

I was beginning to doubt we'd get any more decent refunds after last weeks lack of misprices but I neednt have doubted. We were just looking for some books for our little girl and discovered 2 more misprices...stickers said one price and scanned another. There were no SEL's on the kids book shelf at all. We werent even looking for a misprice there - hubby just scanned on the off chance. It just goes to encourage me to keep going with the r&r's as overcharging is so ridiculously widespread.

Well done to all who got PC's!! it can't have been easy lugging them to the self scanner..but then I suppose you could have asked one of the security guards no doubt lurking behind you to help :rotfl:
  • If I went to the scanner with a PC they would call in the army/police/navy and airforce, and get me thrown out before I got near the till !! ;)

Edit : I can't believe they can get something wrong by £100, totally amazing, if I were the store manager, I'd make it my business to check those high value items, especially if they have a sticker on them. Where is Cumbernauld ? does it open 24 hours and is there parking for a lorry !!! :D :rotfl:

Edit : How on earth did you get it through the checkout without them noticing ??
Drat and Double Drat, curse that Mr T excuse for not giving me a refund.

EVERY LITTLE EXCUSE HELPS in trying to get out of the R&R policy when the law has been broken, especially on high value items. :D

XXXXXX was voted the most dreary town in Scotland for the 2nd year running!
Thank god i don't live there hehe!
But the store is a bigggggie!
NOT 1 NOT 2 BUT ABOUT A DOZEN MANAGERS!
    You've no chance ! hehehe

Best of it was, about 20 pc's all neatly lined up in a row, the orange badge was flashing in your eyes as u walked by (£349.93) and about 4 or 5 signs up saying £446.00 splatted all over them.

If only u could have saw me at the self scanner!

Simple, turn box on side that the op doesn't see price and she scans top tag, just look out for a new start or a simple minded op. OOOps but it's true!!!
  • Going to get my disguise sorted, will be on the look out for them tomorrow. :D and every other day after that :rotfl: Luckily for Tescos Scotland too far, even for a potential free lorry load of PC (s). :rotfl:

They'd have turned off the self-scanners as soon as the PC was in my trolley. my disguise plan is the only way if I find it any previously visited locations. :D
