I see a lot of Kasabians have made their way on to ebay. Was wondering what to do with it! ;)

If your motive was to sell the item on ebay, the best thing i could advise is take the CD back to cs without the receipt. Request an exchange at the current price either for a choice of your own or something which is of equal price and is more likley to sell on ebay.

In Tesco Dover last night they got an offer on 30pack 2 finger kit kats, 2.99each or 2 for £4. My eagle eyes spotted 2 packets that also had 10 extra free as well. They didn't go through on the offer so went to CS desk. They told me it was 2 different offers and I couldn't have both. She got me 2 packs without the extras. I was very polite, and said the label didn't say those packes were excluded and as the 10 extra were free it shouldn't affect the current offer. She kept saying I couldn't have both offers but then She phoned her boss and was told to let me have the 2 packs. So I got 80 2 finger kit kats for £4. Not sure, but from reading some of the posts should I have been given the money back as well because I was not charged what the label said? Whatever the case, quite happy with my bargain.

Yes r&r should have applied if both packs were displayed in the same facing and there was no specific exclusion at pos

I've just been to Sainsburys (as it's the closest store to me) and I bought four twin packs of their Danish pastries. These are 79p each or if you go by the big signs all over the place, two for £1.

Through the till and the discount didn't come off so I went to CS and told them and just casually said "you know, if I was in Tescos they'd give me a refund and I'd get to keep the product". CS lady checked that the discount wasn't coming off as I'd said, then handed me the pastries and proceded to give me a full refund as well. :D

So it seems they can do it too if they want to...and if you don't ask, you don't get :rotfl:

Does anyone know if the Extra stores charge more than non Extra stores, please? I didn't think they did, but ask because when I was in my local Extra store yesterday, I did find the dance party cd/dvd which has been mentioned, but the SEL was £10.97. I have seen it listed on here with an SEL of £8.97, but being charged £9.97.

I had already thought about getting this cd for my daughter for Christmas and would obviously prefer it as a freebie!! icon7.gif

yes they do. For example a croissant from the bakery in a store is 28/29p but from Metro 49p for the same item!
  • Yay I got a free game and two packets of edam!!! Oh its been a while since I have found any misprices. I am now the proud owner of Mercenaries on the PS2, stickered £13.9something or another, charged £19.9something or another! Edam label £2.19 per pound, shelf edge £1.99 per pound, thats the first time it has been wrong!

They are really hot on the mispriced CD's in my local store since I have had a few so its nice to find a game and some cheese. It isn't a very big store so they don't have loads of the other misprices on here. I feel a trip to a bigger store coming on, oh if I could drive I would be on a Mr T road trip!!!

last night i went to my chorley tesco and got 3 katherine jenkins cd's and got them refunded. this morning i checked and they were still mispriced, so i bought another 2, i had already exchanged the other cd's for ones i wanted as the cs hadn`t written that it was an r+r. i then went to horwich tesco and bought a kasabian cd and a kath j cd, some other stuff and a tesco mobile (as i had spent over £40 i wanted the £20 discount). the cashier didnt apply my discount for the phone. i toddled off to cs and started by sayingthat my cd's had been overpriced (never done and r+r here b4) the cs guy called the non food manager who went to check the poster and told me that because the sel had the correct price i could only receive the £1 odd difference, i pointed to the policy poster behind him and he said that he knew the rules better than i did and that i was not allowed a refund, so i asked hime to put me through to head office cust serv - he said they were closed ( i have later found out that they weren`t)so anyway to cut a long story short i put my point across in front of very bemused customers and he agreed to r+R my cd's. the cs guy who put it through then said to me- '' thanks for that, you got me into loads of trouble!!!!'' so anyway i rec'd the cd r+r and went home very annoyed. as soon as i got home i remembered about my mobile overcharge, not wanting to go back and be recognised i rang the store and explained the situation and the cs manager said that i would only be entitled to the £20 back. is this correct?
i am going to complain to their h.o on monday. does anyone know if i am entitled to an r+r on my mobile, and also am i able to exchange the refunded cd's to my local tesco even though the receipt has overcharge written on it ?(i will be exchanging 3 out of 5 cd's) pls help. :A

if the sel for the mobile has the discounted price on, then yes, i got my mobile refunded, they refused at first only offering me the difference, but then i said the sel had the discounted price advertised on it so i got a full refund.

and yes i always exchange my overcharged cds and i always show my receipt, even with overcharge written on it, like ho told me, its not your fault you got overcharged.

    hope that helps
  • thanks for that.

i will go change the cd's now then!!!

the sel didn't have lower price on, but i have a feeling that somewhere else in the store they do have the lower sel's. what if they don`t, should i just get it refunded and call it quits?
