Congratulations on your first post and your first misprice. A word of warning though, it's highly addictive. :rotfl::j little fire cracker born 5th November 2012 :j0 -
Why worry about being spotted. Got another 4 cds today from Tesco. Six on Tuesday. Told CS that I was getting a little bored now and could they get their act together.
Was introduced to the manager and explained his gaps on the CD section and how disappointed I was that they were overcharging customers. He thanked me and knew there was an internet site available but was powerless to stop me.
But didn't know about the Shadows CD - my mum will like that for Christmas. Another trip today I suppose0 -
Do you think Tescos will reimburse me for the fuel used for repeated trips - maybe I'll ask!!0

All,
I bought two of these phones last week and didn't get the £20 knocked off at the point of sale, so therefore went back a couple days later hoping to take advantage of the R&R policy.
However, the local CS lady seeks advice and then goes on to tell me that due to it being a "human error" - computer glitch, that I'm only entitled to the £20 x 2 refund. When I asked her about their policy she said it didn't include high value items :rotfl: anyway, she was getting upset although I did remain calm and collected, so i asked for the HO number and left.
I called HO this morning, who also said that due to it being a special offer that I was not entitled to a full refund and to keep the phones, and that due to the price not being displayed on the SEL it therefore doesn't comply with their procedure. He also went onto say that the error was with the checkout person as they should've deducted the money.
There are two prices on the SEL, the full price and the one with £20 knocked off, if purchased with £40 worth of shopping.
I am after some second thoughts! In my eyes I've been over charged, but in Mr T's its an operator error ( aren't they all :T )
I've asked HO to send me the T&C's of the refund policy and to put it into writing why I can't have a refund.
Anyway, what do you MSEr's think???????0 -

the same happened to me, if both prices are on the sel, before and after price which our store had on the phone i picked up, then you should of got a full refund.
i send cs back to the manager twice, and it was only after i said the lower price is indicated on the sel that they let me have a full refund and the phone for free, dont give up, human error or not, an over charge is an over charge.0 -
Sorry if this has been asked before, but how do you all notice these misprices? Are they all items that you want to buy and after you've paid for them you check your receipts and then go over to the customer services desk for a refund?
Also, are all the Tesco's customer services desks staff compliant with the refund/keep the product policy? i.e. if you genuinely were overcharged are they likely to kick up a fuss and try and force a refund of the difference on you (not allow you to keep product for free) ?
Where is this 'policy' usually located in the store?
Thanks0 -
do they ever say no you cant have a full refund? sorry, im a big chicken but am going to give it a go(tesco owe me!)& what do you say when you go to desk?0

take your receipt and overcharged product/s to the cs desk, tell them you have been overcharged.
they will go get the sel ticket off the shelf and refund you in full and you get to keep the product for free.
however, they do like to fob you off with offering you the difference, just politely make them aware you know the refund policy.
hope that helps0 -
sorry everyone - i don't feel able to read through a 62 page thread for the answer, but i hope someone can help. noticed a microwave on the list, has anyone successfully got a full £50 refund on this?0
