When asked who had told her this, although she would not say but it became obvious that it was not the CS staff, it was the store manager. Not much of an OUR PROMISE I told her.
All I can say with my current contractual obligations is: *whistle*.
It wouldn't be the first time I've heard about this problem of yours, *cough*, Mr Dastardly...Yes, I work for Mr T, but anything I say is not given as an official response or representation from Mr T, and is usually best taken with a pinch of salt, lightly toasted and served with a chardonnay or rose wine. I have no idea what that is supposed to mean! (I'm tired and all interviewed out)
All I'm trying to do is point out a money saving tiplol

JAHARVEY wrote:Why are so many people seemingly suddenly having problems with Tesco's staff honouring the R&R Policy?
Because the R&R policy is a POS misprint. Didn't you know?
It's supposed to say '...we will give you your money back and you can't keep the product....'
Sorry, I'll take it down now sirYes, I work for Mr T, but anything I say is not given as an official response or representation from Mr T, and is usually best taken with a pinch of salt, lightly toasted and served with a chardonnay or rose wine. Mmmmmmm.0 -
ben500 wrote:I know of at least three stores that have been directed to abide by ALL company promises with specific references to r&r, I don't know if all stores are receiving the same instruction but the instances of r&r in these stores are not particularly high so they may be as a result of complaints but I am not sure.
Its been on several Customer Service Daily Update emails, but they never get circulated to CSD staff usually, because they aint trained to logon and check emails.
Its usually people like me (ex CSD staff) that pop onto the store email and print stuff off for them (like the 'oh buggery gift cards are launching next week and nobody knows about it!' type thing).
But, saying that, there seems to be some interesting changes happening around the CSD desk and the application they use, so that might all change (I'm sure I saw something about communication/messaging now available on the CSD system).Yes, I work for Mr T, but anything I say is not given as an official response or representation from Mr T, and is usually best taken with a pinch of salt, lightly toasted and served with a chardonnay or rose wine. Clowance wrote:re cd possible misprices: I tried to scan a couple on the checking machine today (which was working on most things) but it wouldn't read the barcodes of the CD's presumably due to the big plastic case, so I put them back. Any tips on how to scan these?
In my local Tesco, they have a jewelary counter.... i just ask the lady at that till, advising that i can't see a price on the shelf, and she scans it for me.0 -
I had a good look around at my local Tesco yesterday, but I couldn't see a scanner. Any clues as to what to look for? Or where it is likely to be? Or does anyone know where the scanner is in the Kingsteignton store.Quidco cashback paid out so far £745.89 :j0

dbilsborough wrote:To be fair though, you on your own do not form the majority of people on the board which was my point, some people want to change policy and some people just want free stuff
And some people will cheerfully accept the later whilst the former is being pursued.
I believe I'm getting the best of both worlds (how terrible of me!!) ...Yes I have had lots of free goodies, however I am also pointing out their misprices every time I am over charged. In time they may even get so much stick for the amount of r&r's they are processing in my local stores that they actually take a litttle more care with their prices. Pigs may also fly...but in the mean time it's free bacon sarnies for tea again
