Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

I tell you what, it is a bit of a relief though - it's funny how much more tense the house was having someone so quiet and generally unfathomable! I think we were more fed up with the sneaking around than anything else :rotfl: Can you imagine, though? You're sat in the living room watching a film and you can see there's someone behind the mottled glass door, very very slowly depressing the handle...
Grrrr!
Can't wait to see who comes nextThe room's been advertised on here - as usual there's interest already: https://www.spareroom.co.uk/475092

Is that you and current lodger - you look like Amy Winehouse (albeit sober and prettier...)
essexgal;)old enough to know better, young enough not to care;)0 -
Hands up who's applying for a room?
I'm considering calling my wife and seeing if she'll let me move away for a while!0 -
Well, so far I've made appointments for a mature French student and a 34-yr-old Englishman
Thanks for the compliment Essexgal but I am making kissy-faces at a bottle of vodka - not the most sober of images! :rotfl:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
I think you'll have to vet them very carefully.....I can imagine a Channel 4 executive thinking this is the ideal place to film a new show..... BadgerLady's House - Lodgers from Hell.......:D

Careful you might attract a stalker of the "I know where you live variety."
(It is one thing to display an attractive "personality", but beware the power of the visual image. It accounts for 75% of our sensual input)

The mask is a clever move :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It could be the price of internet celebrity
You don't really want some of these wreckers descending on your thread; but you have probably got the "bottle" to laugh it off.

Good luck with the new tenant.0 -
Well, certainly the smoothest departure that Big Badger House has seen - a quiet knock on the door and MauritiusLodger had all his bags packed, waiting for a taxi. Room is beautifully cleaned out, ready to go! I'm just thinking about taking a photo of it - do you think it would benefit my SpareRoom advert?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
