This really is the best post ever. Started reading it from the beginning and couldn't stop - 2 bottles of wine later!!. I've had lodgers for the last 18 years but none have come close to yours! (OK there have been a few nightmares but I think I've blocked them out. Suffice to say I no longer let anyone have a juicing machine..).0

The curse of the front bedroom strikes again!I would like to tell you that my girlfriend is coming in two days,as she wouldn't be possible for her to stay here with me for one month therefore she will go to a flat that I've reserved for her and that I will go to stay with her For one month and I couldn't pay the rent as I will not be here so I have no other alternative to stop my stay here. I will move on tomorrow at 2pm where you will be there,I would like to take to you today about but I'm hesitate to knock at your door such a time

He did ask about the girlfriend staying but there's no way I would have a 43-yr-old French woman living here with us... I've never been comfortable sharing with girls in the best of circumstances, but with only one bathroom (and no shower) :eek:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

I wasn't entirely sure whether he meant:
1) I'm going to nip off for a month, then come back, but not pay in between
or
2) I'm leaving for good, because 1 is not possible.
I'm choosing to believe he meant 2)!Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

That`s what I`m wondering too...
If it`s 1, then that`s out of order.
If it`s 2, then he needs to give you more notice surely?0
