Before anyone starts no, nothing's missing! :rotfl:

hmmm - but you did let him borrow your laptop - take it that it's secure - would hate for you to be hacked/ripped off (I know, sometimes I'm so cynical it scares me...)

    You really do pick them!

Maybe he pulled a bit of British loveliness and spent the night enjoying her delights :)

How long's he been living there now?

Just read through, so you picked him up last night ... etc etc.

Maybe he's been arrested and can't remember your address!
  • He's been in the country for 36 hours, but missing for the last 16 of them!

There's nothing interesting on my laptop anyway (no internet banking or anything) and all our rooms are locked when we're not in them... and he did completely unpack his things and lend me his favourite DVD so not usual behaviour for someone about to leg it!

He hasn't texted me, so I can only assume he's fine wherever he is

Sure he's not hiding in the wardrobe in case the cat gets him....:rotfl:

Totally agree! How do we vote for this?
  • It's OK, I found Lodger4! He's been jetlagged, and therefore quietly dozing in his darkened room... obviously

I'm just about to take him into town so he can get a UK mobile (though I'm first going to check in my room, I'm sure I've got an old PAYG he can have...)

I love his little comments and comparisons - today it was "There is a habit here of young people living away from their families. This is not something I'm used to. But I think I could get used to it!"

Glad you found him. Was worried for a bit that an unscrupulous person from this thread had lodgernapped him just to create a bit more drama!
