Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

Personally I wouldnt let him back in, and pay someone to pack and move his shlte downstairs (paid out of the deposit) ready for him on weds
If he does come round on Wednesday he'll find his key doesn't work. I've already booked tomorrow off so I can always clear his room out for my own uses.
Unfortunately he hasn't paid the last week's rent (which is always a risk) so there's no deposit forthcoming.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Hmm... it's been such a long time since I've needed them, I've actually forgotten where the spare keys are
BigGuns clearly left his bedroom window open when he disappeared last week, and now the winds are up! Poor Joanna has had to stuff towels round the door just to stop it banging, but it's still making a helluva whistle :eek:Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

And what if it rips the window off?
He has also left your house insecure meaning if a burglar climbed in that way your insurance wouldn't pay out.0 -

Would that be so he still has a means of entry after the locks are changed?“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

I'd love to see him climb in through the 3rd floor at the top of a hill :rotfl: No really, I would.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -

Get the window shut!
You know it makes sense.0 -
Regardless of the legalities re any potential insurance issues, can you imagine the heat that's draining out of the house just because this window is open?
I'm afraid I woud have gained entry to his room the minute I knew the window was open and he wasn't returning any time soon to close it. Or I would have texted him to come back and attend to it himself. Either way I would not have left it.
Hope all goes smoothly re his stuff and lock change BL.Herman - MP for all!0
