Ah thank you for solving that mystery, i was starting to think I had dreamt the whole thing up. Yes, that was the one - stole bf's keys when he left them outside.spugzbunny wrote: »God this is bloody brilliant! Thankyou so much badger lady! I first started reading yesterday and it is great! You really really should write a book - a bit like a collection of diary enteries. I'm thinking billy piper in secrets of a london call girl!
To the person who asked who it was who the female lodger was who micked the keys. There was another posters lodger who stole the BFs keys when he left them on the step. Someone else also returned to france I think and sent the keys back in an envelope. I'm 99% sure these were both lodgers of non-BL postersEllie

Yep, the French girl was my lodger. Silly moo she was, not only did she stick the key in a flimsy envelope but when she was here, used to hang her knickers over the curtain rail in her bedroom (which was at the front of my house). Apparently she didn't like using the tumble drier :rotfl:
I did wonder initially why her clothes always smelled mustyMortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0 -
Yes, I agree. Much better than all those books Maureen Lipman writes...............saw her on telly this week and she wasnt even funny, she was embarrassing.spugzbunny wrote: »God this is bloody brilliant! Ack - I think they're still "approving" my advert. It's not the most usable of websites! But it is exclusive to Monday-Friday lodgers, so I've offered it at a slightly lower rate on the basis that I'd still be able to use it for guests on weekends.Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Have you found that lodgers register on this site B_L? it's quite expensive isnt' it especially when you can advertise on easyroommate and spareroom for free.Mortgage free as of 10/02/2015. Every brick and blade of grass belongs to meeeee. :j0

Link still not working for me.
Don't think I approve of you paying a fee for advertising for 3 months LOL.
Would a Mon - Fri bod have to move their stuff out of the room for each weekend then ?Inside this body lays one of a skinny woman

Yeah I guess so. I don't really know much about this site to be honest - someone on another forum recommended it and I thought "Sod it, worth a go!".
Unfortunately Spareroom isn't really free any more. If you put a free ad up, prospective lodgers have to pay to contact you... Which they don't like doing. It used to be that after a week your ad becomes 'free to contact', but nowadays every time you renew to stay near the front of the list it restarts the paid periodSo you're basically force to pay for a bold listing (or only get lodgers who've paid to upgrade themselves).
Complicated, huh?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
