    So, what's happening in BL's Lodging House now?! It's nearly a month since your last post. Have you managed to get a new lodger then, did the advert work??

    Hi Nesssie!

    Not much happening really... advert on that bloomin' website is rubbish, hasn't generated a single lead, and I haven't persued new lodgers.

    BigBruv has been my housemaid and nurse for the last month - since getting the flu jab, I seem to be catching every virus going, I've been constantly ill for six weeks now with sinisitus, tummy bugs, chest infections... :( So he's been doing all the washing up, buying my cough syrup and generally being on hand. He's cool like that.

    My folks are flying in next week and the four of us are going out for a gig on Tuesday to celebrate BigBruv's birthday.

    I'm pleased to announce that I'm in full health, thank you. I'm even getting in shape before my birthday! And BigBruvLodger is attempting to quit smoking (he's back with his ex-girlfriend now).

    By the way, I never did get a single peep out of that monday-friday lodger website. What a rip-off!

    Happy new year to you too! Glad to hear you're feeling better. It's always great to get in shape (or try to, I'm rubbish at it!) and if he quits smoking that can only be a plus... are you still smoking? Can't remember if you did or not. Might be easier to quit as a pair, spurring each other on...? ;)

    Shame about that website, are there other places you can try?

    Nah, I've never really smoked - can't really bear it any more. He's got one of those electric cigarettes but he still goes out for real ones too!

    When I get sorted out, I'll put the room back on spareroom.co.uk. I'm finding out tomorrow whether I've still got a job or not - if I'm being made redundant I'll need to pull my finger out and get someone in!
