Ohhhhhhhhhhh, I saw that last year. Doesnt she get on your WICK? But by the end of the film she had redeemed herself. Cant wait for the new Mike Leigh, Another Year, in cinemas 5th November :)

Sheltering Sky - fifties trip to Northern Africa by strange arty types. Give it a wide berth.

I thought he was going to be a kid but turned out to be 30. Just not one of life's winners.

You have had some absolute belters living with you but this one just sounds like a loser :o Living at home at age 30 and his parents only live a few miles away - I have visions of him being like Ronnie Corbett in Sorry! He doesn't sound like he is exciting enough for this thread :p

Hey, I was 27 before moving out from my parents! :p

Funny thing is now, 4 years on, I'm the landlord renting out to lodgers... only been doing it 2 months but absolutely loving it so far!... I have some stories already but won't hijack this thread.

Loving the thread by the way BadgerGirl, even though I had very late nights for a week trying to get up to date!

I'm sorry but this is really funny! :rotfl:

Last night's PotentialLodger just texted me again:
Any chance you could email me the application form? I left it in MacDonald's last night.

    haha bless!

He could provide some amusing tales of silly mistakes that he makes but whilst it's fun to laugh at such things after a while it actually gets really irritating living with them.

When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.
  • Uh Oh, big warning signs written all over this one, dear Badger_Lady.
He wants another mummy to look after him. Aww bless.

Love the idea of you taking in us lot from here on paid visits, rather like HM does at Buck House but, ya know, with an overnight stay !!
We'd all be ever so clean, never ever play our music after hours, never throw up in bath, never leave behind an unwanted Ikea wardrobe and always bring you flowers and cash for the visit.
We love your Sett and your posts so please reconsider, pretty please

God this is bloody brilliant! Thankyou so much badger lady! I first started reading yesterday and it is great! You really really should write a book - a bit like a collection of diary enteries. I'm thinking billy piper in secrets of a london call girl!

To the person who asked who it was who the female lodger was who nicked the keys. There was another posters lodger who stole the BFs keys when he left them on the step. Someone else also returned to france I think and sent the keys back in an envelope. I'm 99% sure these were both lodgers of non-BL posters
