Good Lord! Is he fleeing the authorities or something?0 -
ChattyLodger's story is that most of his agency work was coming up in England, so he needed to save money on the toll bridge (bloomin' bridge!). He found a boarding house that has six residents coming and going all the time, and wanted to secure it straight away.
The new potential lodger is currently in the channel islands (same island that BigBruvLodger is from - how's that for coincidence?) but is about to recommence her studies at the University near me... she hasn't liked the look of any of the student accommodation and has been searching desperately for somewhere nice to live, so she leapt on my advert this morning. I'm not sure exactly when she starts the new term, but she is flying into Wales on Saturday. I double-checked and she has got a return ticket!

OK, another person to add to the list of people who stumbled across the thread and then spent the best part of three hours whizzing through it. To save time, after the first 10 pages, I tended to just read our illustrious leader's entries (and anything she happened to quote).
Guess I'll have to subscribe to this now too. If only I can work out how. Have had an account on here for years but don't think I've ever used it before!0 -

Can't wait for Saturday and we find out about speedyInside this body lays one of a skinny woman
but I can usually shut her up with chocolate!
When I thank a post in a thread I've not posted in,
it means that I agree with that post and have nothing further to add.
