Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

  • Hey Jammy, I love your summary  Anyway, I sent him a curt email after the birthday present and he hasn't replied since.

Not that I'm bothered any more - life is too good over here! I had my weigh-in at the gym and I'm losing on average half a pound per day, plus building up muscles and fitness (you should see me legs - even I want to wolf whistle at them )

Plus, I went to my first Theatre meeting last night and have been cast as one of the leading ladies in a one-act comedy for the Drama Association of Wales Festival! Funny enough, the character is a slightly off-beat woman with good spelling who's always single and doesn't really see the point in men, other than to play Scrabble with..

ClumsyLodger is on night shifts at the moment but seems happy enough on the rare occasions I see her. And my new friends (ex's old friends) are taking me out for an anti-Valentines ice hockey match this Sunday.

So in short, life is pretty good right now... if he's missing me, that's his bad luck.

  • BitterAndTwisted, it gets worse! I just recieved a birthday pressie from him... some figurines from a film that we watched together on a date before he left. It seems he ordered them from New Zealand to be delivered to my colleague for wrapping. I don't know what's going through that boy's head but it's danm confusing

I think I know what you should do: close the door on that past relationship in your mind because he's a fool who doesn't seem to know his own and what sensible woman wants to be involved with that sort of fool long-term anyway?

Then get on FaceBook, friend-request my lovely pal Chest Rockwell and have a drink with him. You can tell him I sent you because he knows my alias from another forum. It's Valentine's Day on Sunday and you could have a lovely new male friendship on the cards by then. He's very nice-looking, owns his own home, has a decent career and earns a reasonable wedge. Plus he's got great taste in music. *temp tempt*
  • Heheh, Bitter - you don't give up, do you?

It's probably a little soon... but if he wants to make friends I'm emily.boots (as in https://www.facebook.com/emily.boots).

  • No I don't, do I? Hehe. Thing is, he's single right now and I know he'd like to be in a relationship preferably with someone relatively sane. He's been having a bit of a hard time lately finding someone even half-sane but that might be down to poor choices on his part. He's got a great sense of humour and is a whole lot of fun to be around. If I wasn't old enough to be his mother (and maybe his granny too) I'd have snapped him up yonks ago myself.

Hey BL, just make sure you're in the right place (in your head) to meet a new chap. I made the mistake of going out with a lovely bloke after I split from my ex and it was a complete mess. The chap concerned was lovely but not a great match for me but I screwed it all up because I wasn't really ready for a new relationship.

Hope you are on the way to a good place if you're not there already and belated Happy Birthday!
