Big Badger House (aka Noisy Lodger) HE'S GONE!

Just had the call... the x-rays didn't show anything
Just some arthritis, but nothing severe enough to be causing his dreadful pain. But the vet doesn't want to make any decisions, so he's sent him home with some strong painkillers and is going to refer him back to his original vet.
ClumsyLodger has very kindly agreed to pick him up from the vet's for meMortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Badger, I'm so sorry to hear about Tufters! But at least the Vet didn't find anything directly wrong, that has to be positive. Fingers crossed he will improve in the next few days.0

Yes, I'm reading this as good news as well. Poor little Tufters. I bet he'll be grateful for his heating pad now, little darling0

I'm reading it as bad news! If we don't know what's wrong, how can we fix it?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0

Could it be a pulled muscle or trapped nerve maybe - in which case might be okay after a couple of days rest..?
Hope the painkillers make him feel more comfortable anyway.

No, I don't think so... they did bloodwork (which was all normal). What else would they find from those?Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0 -
Well if the bloods have come back ok I'm stumped. I was wondering if your cat has been poisoned but think that would show up in the blood tests?0

Blimey! What a difference some morphine makes. Tufter was outside when I got home but came running for dinner. And now he's on his hind legs begging for treats! He's walking pretty much normally and, although he's wary of having his back half stroked, he's not in pain...Mortgage | £145,000Unsecured Debt | [strike]£7,000[/strike] £0 Lodgers | |0
