Just found the link to their shop on ebay:

Thanks for the advice nikki, none of my chemists stock castor oil.
She doesn't seem to have any at the moment, but maybe it's worth sending a message?March win: Fair Squared organic spa skincare set

I have also used a more expensive organic version made my ''Pukka'' and sold in health food shops . They have a website..I linked it somewhere in the thread IIRC, and would probably be able to tell you nearest stockist, but for bg standard castor oil I'd ask your local boots, get them to order it if they don't have it.
I asked in boots got the 3rd degree about my bowel movements, unconvinced looks when I told them I wanted for my skin, only to be told they didn't have it.!
Oil..yes, you can use th stuff in your kitchen...I don't, but a friend of mine is using olive oil with great success.Or if your Boots is like mine (Oh no we don't sell castor oil unless you have a prescription) then you can get it off eBay. I use a shop called mother natures goodies (I think) and the stuffs good. £2.79 for 50ml but its lasted me ages!
Thanks, never thought online (doh!)
Thanks for your help, I'm so desperate for this to work, wish me luck!

Don't forget to try sourcing castor oil at any local chemists and health shops. My local chemist (Weldricks, I think) stocks small bottles - cost about £1.20
Good luck0 -
Just bumping this query. Also some people mention using Simple facial wipes. Which types are best?
(I noticed that Superdrug were doing them for £1.99 last week and Tesco had 2 for £4.00).
Can you use the Simple Baby Wipes instead? (more in a packet and were at my local poundshop but the packet doesn't mention if can be used on the face).
Thanks:)
I don't have rosacea, I hope someone helps soon. I have to say, I'd be wary of any wipes. For make up removal, the oil, if it works for you is all you will need, it will do a better job than the wipes and strictly in my opinion, I don't like wipes: I find them drying, uneconomical, not thorough! I only ever use them when traveling for a freshen up and try to avoid n face: the lack of success at home is only overcome when traveling to try and travel fresh!
I notice that on the snail gel thread they mentioned the snail gel is rported as being good for rosacea0 -
This is the link for the castor oil from mother natures goodies. Hope it works.

Hi,
I've been using the OCM for a couple of days and this morning i've woken up and put my make up on and I've noticed my pores are HUGE! I mean i had large pores anyway but I actually took a closer look in the mirror as when I glanced I thought, what's that on my cheek, a closer inspection found it was my pores. They just look awful and they've never looked that way before
Is this usual to OCM or a coincidence?
Anyone advise please?
TIA0 -

For me the exact opposite happened. May be worth trying sightl differnt concentration of oils, making sure you finish with cold water after the hot, or even trying a gentle toner like rose water? Good luck, its a bit trial and error.0 -

Hi, as I'm new to ocm I've not made up batches as such, I've been using 4 teaspoons of caster oil and one Jojoba I finish by splashing cold water on my face . Can you recommend what ratios I try next.
I will get some rose water tomorrow if I can source some.

I'm surprised that that ration has made your pores bigger, but I wouldn't be surprised if your skin had dried out! Maybe the castor oil is drying out th pores and they are trying to produce o more oil to replenish?
Its meant to be more of the carrier oil and less castor oil (I very occasionally use neat castor oil on problem areas) so I'd try one teaspoon of castor and four of jojoba and see what happens!
BTW, thats a lot of oil for one ''wash''....maybe try half-one teaspoon of castor to 2-3 of jojoba?0 -

Thanks,
I really struggled knowing how much to use, maybe thats the problem I've got it all wrong. I'll try those quantities tonight and see how it goes.
Very much appreciated
