Just thought that I would update ...

I bought Clinique anti-blemish from Boots on Friday as the assistant advised me it would benefit my skin no end. She guaranteed that it wouldn't flare up. She also trialled some foundation on me.

30 minutes later I had to take the foundation off, so used the new cleanser, toner & moisturiser. 3 times I had to cleanse my face to get it off!! Within a couple of hours I resembled a pizza.

Back to my OCM and although my skin is still icky its starting to improve again. I will never try anything on my face again. Even the "brilliant" Elizabeth Arden cream made me break out, argh!

So OCM all the way, now I just need a nice, non irritant, natural looking foundation, hmmmm.
If you reacted to the products from Boots, definitely take them back. They should refund you or at least offer to exchange for something else.

Have you tried mineral foundation? Lily Lolo do some good ones, and you can get trial sizes to check colour before you splash out on the full size. In your case, you can use the trial size to check you're not sensitive to it too!

I've sent the OH back with it so fingers crossed.

I've heard that Lily Lolo is really good so will probably try a sample. I hate trying to match foundations colours though, I always end up looking like death warmed up!

I bought my oils a few months ago tried it twice my skin didn't seem to look any different. I am so impatient was expecting a miracle. after finding this thread again. I am going to try again. I have oily skin, very large pores around my nose quite a few blackheads and get outbreaks of spots. I am now noticing the pores on my cheeks are slightly visable. I was thinking of doing it every night for the first week would that be too much too soon and also is it better to spend the 30 minutes massaging in or could i try 10 minutes30 sounds a long time.

I didn't start with the massage and certainly don't do anything like 30 mins every day. I wait till something I want to see on tv is on, but yes, I was surprised at the difference it makes. I ocm almost every day....but experiment...do what feel right to you and see what your skin says...I'm understanding my skin so much more these days.

I've used th Ev lom. It smells lovely, but is very, very heavy. Like OCM, skin can react initially. I went to a Space NK eve lom demo, and they said the mst important part of eve lom, which you could take to any cleanser, is the massage. In fcat they said they think its the key in facials, the massage....

Although I loved Eve Lom, the smell, the texture evrything, my skin is better on OCM.
