I do very similar to Lost, but my oil is 30% Castor and 70% Almond (great as long as you don't have a nut allergy!).
Like Lost I love it's makeup removing properties and as I wear makeup every day it makes sense...........
I use moisturiser and eye cream every morning and evening, and occasionally I'll use an exfoliator just because I have some to use! If you're doing the cloths right I really don't think you need to exfoliate too.0 -
just plain water on the cloth you normally use for the oil cleansing should be enough0

Well after using another cleanser (Lush Ultrabland) my skin looks like a pizza.
Back to the good old OCM and its look better already. Castor oil is still drying but I invested in an Elizabeth Arden face cream for dry skin - its excellent!0 -
sorry if this has been been answered already, i tried looking through the thread but couldnt see it!
Do you have to use a blend of oils, or can you just use olive oil or similar? I've been using olive oil in my home made exfolilators and i love it! Is this castor oil a key ingredient or can I use others instead?
Thanks!!0 -

You can use olive oil on its own however its the castor oil which purges the skin. Some people do find olive oil a bit heavy for the face though.0 -
I used just ojoba a first. I found the addition of castor to be a significant improvement. jojoba alone was great for dry skin and dewey ness and some pores, castor really cleared out far more though.0

It really works for some people.
It works for me. it takes some faffing to find what works, and is still your skin, I still get spots. But they heel quicker, they come to a head quicker.
My pores are smaller, and I have no dry patches left.0
