    Good luck!

I use jojoba and castor oil. I have tried the baby botanics one and didn't like it as much...I also have a fancier mixed oil from a health food shop...but tbh the castor and jojoba, mixed to how I need them works fine for me...so I'm going to persisit withmy loyalty to it.

Massage really helps for black heads. :) I recommend reading the thread through...I know its long, but its worth it....:)

    you're welcome. Good luck!
  • i have tried this for the past week and have definately noticed the castor oil working on the spots, bringing them out easier and healing quicker but i have a hell of a lot more spots than usual and all over my face rather than just on my chin and around my nose.
Im in 2 minds to keep doing it as i really wanted it to work for me but am down about my skin enough as it is just now.

I've noticed that the OCM keeps my skin clearer. Luckily I no longer get really big spots on a regular basis, but I do (of did!) often get teeny ones under the surface of my skin which just made it uneven.
Since using the OCM my skin seems clearer, more even and just feels lovely. On the week I used something else (product testing a cleanser), it started getting bumpy around my chin. A couple of OCM nights and it's back to being smooth!
All-round thumbs up from me! :)

(I use 25% Castor oil to 75% jojoba oil. Have some rose oil to try at some point too.)

    .
you may need to change the carrier oil, I had this when using olive oil, switched to sweet almond oil ( about £1.50 a bottle form the asian food section in mrT next to the coconut and jasmin oil) and all is fine now.
  • Started this last night and skin felt good, very greasy this morning so washed face with water and a soft cloth. My skin is still very greasy, I blotted some off with a tissue this morning but it has just made more

My skin is less flaky than when I use normal cleansers, but still greasy and yuk

Will I ever be grease free :(

re those having problems with grease and spots if you'v persevered and followed all the fifferent elements that I'd give up and accet this is not for you.

I would ake sure though, from my own experience, you re getting all the oil off with warm enough water and letting the het really get in to the skin before wiping each time.
  • My problem seems to be that my skin just constantly produces oil! Blocked pores and spots are an annoyance but I don't really get that many, the real problem is that I constantly have a greasy face, it looks and feels yukky and makeup doesn't last longer than an hour.

I was lovely and non greasy this morning but within an hour it was back, blotted it off and then more came!

Will perservere - the results are no worse than with other cleansers and at least I'm not getting dry and flakey skin which I usually get from using the harsh chemicals (dry and greasy at the same time, how!)
