Hi everyone:) Update time, still going really well with this, various bumps have risen to the surface and now been obliterated;)I think I was a bit too enthusiastic and stopped wearing foundation:eek:and started using fake tan and concealer instead, it looked ok but not sure I'm quite ready for this just yet but the condition of my skin is much much improved and I will definitely stick with it:)

Me too! Since the beginning of the year, have been using ordinary almond oil, (not sweet) and just using it as I would a normal cleanser not full OCM. Have saved an absolute fortune on make-up remover ! My skin is clear, balanced and moisturised. The slightly grimy looking clogged pores I've always had on my nose have cleared and tightened. Never get dry patches or skin tightness now and use less moisturiser as a result saving money!

    Can't recommend it too highly!

Hi I'm looking to start the OCM but as a weekly or bi weekly treatment because I think my skin would erupt majorly if I did it every day! (That and I've just spent a fortune in Lush on Ultra Bland and Dream Cream)

ive tried to get Castor Oil but no where seems to stock it (one woman said she could recommend sennikot :rotfl:) Can annyone recommend any reasonably priced websites?

Hi, I'm still going strong with this, I am slightly less oily but the real difference is in the quality of my skin even when it shines it looks good, quite a turnaround for me:)

Most pharmacy counters have it hidden away in a drawer somewhere or other or its on a shelf behind the counter so you still have to ask
  • I am about to try this- when my castor oil gets delivered. But i am using it with extra virgin olive oil- is this ok? I too got confused thinking sunflower oil & sunflower SEED oil where different and got a bit stressed out in tescos! Will it reduce the ize of your pores? I have large pores on my cheeks and really want to smooth my complexion. Will this help? I do get quite a few spots too. Help!! Im new :)

The boots pharmacy told me there no longer allowed to stock it, Lloyds told me there was no demand. Ive bought stuff from lush containing peanut oil so ill see if that helps

    Lol

So confusing isnt it when the same thing has different names.

Like peanuts being groundnuts, sunflower oil and sunflower seed oil

Mix it with whatever oil you want.

My personal fav is a bottle of ready mixed olive oil and sunflower oil. I chose this because it hasnt the strong smell olive oil has but does have some of the properties of olive oil

No one can guarantee you are going to get a perfect complexion using this. Some people ( like myself) get great results, others dont see much if any difference

For myself - my pores are less visable. Those on my cheeks are barely visible now, my skin in that area is very smooth now. I still have some coarsness above and between eyebrows. Over all my skin tone has evened out and my sensitivities have diminished

Hope you get the results you are looking for. Dont forget you tailor make this to suit you, add more castor if needed, reduce if skin gets dry
