Having a skin blip: not sure why...weather...less exercise, a bit of Christmas drinking? Anyway, i'm not too worried about it, I'm just chugging along with OCM. But came up with a brillant solution today, which most of yu probably do already, but thought I'd share for those who don't:
Mixing the oils into a spray bottle! I have had a mix (I finally settled on about 30/70) in a srew top little bottle and today thought to pu my mix into a spray top bottle, this is great because the outsode of the bottle isn't getting greasy/dirty when I redo lid, the oil doesn't get water in when I use it in the shower...I just squirt on face, put bottle down, then get hands involved. Simple, but quite useful! A pump dispenser would work in much the same way, but didn't have a spare one of them. The other advantage of spray over pump is that less comes out, and I find I'm chugging through the oil, so a natural limter, making sure I'm not too over generous will help minimise cost too.0 -
Hello, I currently use Elemis products for combination skin and they seem to be working well but I would like to save some money and switch to something more pure and came across this thread. I don't have any dry patches on my face but have the large pores on my nose and a bit on my cheeks and suffer terribly with hormonal breakouts on my chin. Has anyone got any suggestion as to what oils to start with?0

i started with olive oil but this was greasy and then i moved on to sweetalmond which was much better and now i use jojoba which is amazing.
if you get blocked pores which i did,you add some castor oil to your oil and this literaly cleans one's pores. it's truly amazing0 -
I still can't get castor oil anywhere - may need to give in and get it online
Same with almond oil, Tesco have every other oil bar this one!0 -

Thanks, where do you get the jojoba oil from? Does it have a nice smell or like many others just the plain oil smell?0 -
