    Hi all

I have been reading the OCM with interest over the last few days and have finally decided to give it a go. I have used the free DHC samples of olive oil in the past but the cost of a full bottle has prevented me from going all out.

I bought olive oil (£1.35/92mls) and virgin castor oil (£1.31/100ml) from the pharmacy counter at my local ASDA. They were kept in the back, not on display. The olive oil bottle is like the one my mum kept especially to out in our ears when we were little...very popular with indian mums!

I am using an old contact lens case to keep the mix of oils in as i only intend to make up enough for a few nights to see how it goes.

    Wish me luck!

I have thought about buying that olive oil instead of the food one, do you know the difference?

Also thought about buying proper face cleansing oil & adding castor oil (because I like that for the deep clean).

    Anyone?????

Loving the OCM. Doing it about twice a week and my skin has had a definate improvement. Less dry patches and oilyness gone. Hurrah! Even OH is doing it now!
Not sure what I should do the rest of the time as the website seemed to suggest this is a treatment rather than an everyday thing?

Hia Marrow! Every two-three days seems to be optimum for me, just using water in between (I always rub in a tiny drop of oil after washing with water)... then I don't wear makeup on my face (unless it's a special occasion) so if you do you may need to use it as a makeup remover more frequently :)

I have been using the OCM for over a week now, 50% olive oil and 50% castor oil. Did it that way because the bottles are the same size so just mixed them up. It works for me, i really cant believe it.

I have tried everything under the sun, microdermabrasion, estee lauder, body shop, laser, you name it i have probably tried it or seriously considered it. Every single eye makeup remover has left my eyes sore.

OCM has been great. I use the same mixture on my hair too, I put it on for a couple of hours before washing and the difference is remarkable. I used to use plain olive oil (done that for quite some time).

I also bought some glycerin and some rosewater and mix equal amounts, then use that as a moisturiser. I did a test on my husbands elbows which are a bit rough to say the least. One elbow my own mix (glycerin and rosewater) the other E45. My own came out the smoothest after only three days.

I am genuinely pleased with the results and wonder why I have spent 100's if not 1000's of pounds over my lifetime. I am desperate to get my daughter to give this a try.

I made up my own body scrub (olive oil 1 cup and quarter cup sugar), which works like a dream.

My new best friends are olive oil, castor oil, rosewater and glycerin.

My face has never felt greasy, dry, or over cleaned. I dont know whether i am desperate to see results but i have seen an improvement in my wrinkles in between my eyes (dont know the name for them).

Last week i made an appointment to see a dermatologist about the possibility of either botox or a filler - well the appointmen has been cancelled and i shall give myself another two weeks to see the results before deciding whether to go the chemical route.

Good to hear you are seeing such dramtic results.

I too have seen my skin texture improve 100% and the few wrinkles I did have all but disapear. The pores on my cheeks are near on invisible and my oil slick is a thing of the past.

Its not perfect, I still get congestion on the chin and about the nose but the gunk is easily removed without squeezing too hard.

I sort of miss going out and buying posh products now and find I no longer loiter in the cosmetic department of the big stores as I get sort of depressed knowing theres nothing being sold that works better for me then a pound bottle of castor oil

Ive used the ocm 4 times now.

I did 80% > 20% and i used extra virgin oil as my mixer. I have lots of tiny little black heads on my nose, now it made my nose feel smooth but didnt take the black dots away. Any ideas???

Keep doing it and after the steaming, use a bit of gentle pressure to push the gunk out. I use the muslin cloth Im using to steam so I dont get nail marks or press too hard. When its ready to come out it will come
