  • I must admit that I started this and the way my skin felt and looked straight after doing it was great! I thought it was going to be the answer to my skin woes, but after doing it for a few months I have gradually stopped because it hasn't made any significant difference to my skin at all, which is a shame. I just found that by the next morning after doing this routine my skin just looked how it always does and it didn't seem to get any better even after weeks/months of doing it. So that was just my experience....

Well I now use it about 3 or 4 times a week still because the best thing its done is stop the oil production I was famed for.

Also my pores are looking a lot lot better because they arent so gunked up

My face feels as smooth as a babies bum right now and Ive been on the go all day - and only gave a wipe over with a damp cloth this morning at 7am

So I shall be keeping at it as for me its working

(aged 44 with previously extremely oily skin, loads of lumps and bumps (congestion) and rosacea )
  • ok.... so i must confess.... i moved house and my mixed bottle leaked everywhere (not a happy thing to find - oil all over the rest of that box!) and i have only done it once in the last few weeks.... i keep telling myself that i will find more time in the evenings to sit down and do it. i'm sure at least half of why it make me feel better was to take the time to do it before bed and relax!!

(so now i will make sure i do it tonight - and please all feel free to nag me ;))

  • I'm still doing it 2-3 times a week, works really well for me. I alternate with an exfoliator. Preferably Ginvera Marvel Gel.

No break outs as I catch them at the start and put a stop to them :D

    Skin feels great!

I have fallen off the wagon. I used it for about 3 weeks and thought it was great, but was put off by how oily it made my muslin cloths and gradually stopped.
Not buying clothes for a year - it's liberating!

I am going to merge you into the old thread, so that everyone who goes "Ooh, what's that?" can find out without having to display their ignorance.

  • If anyone is struggling to find castor oil, I've found a website that does 500ml containers for just £2.65! http://www.molevalleyfarmers.com/productdescription.aspx?prodcode=0193&utm_source=base&utm_medium=comparison&utm_campaign=google_base :rotfl:

I suffer from blackheads on my nose, has anyone had success in getting rid of them using the OCM?
  • I have altered this method slightly. Didn't relish using castor oil on my face, as my skin is very sensitive. I use cheap version of Bio Oil instead and it seems to work well. I cleanse with oil maybe 3 times a week and just clean with warm water the rest of the time.
  • so tonight i used it :D

sat and watched desperate housewives whilst rubbing it in!

now i have to make time tomorrow too!

Where do you get the cheap version of bio oil from?
