    Morning everyone,
I`ll be out in the garden shortly as it`s nice outside at the moment but i don`t know how long it will last.
dw has been emptied, breakfast eaten etc and the wm isn`t finished yet.

Yesterday out in the garden ( iwas out there all day) i planted lots of seeds and repotted a few things that were growing well. On the kitchen windowsill i now have some courgettes, peppers and basil.
In the garden i`ve planted chilli peppers, radish, spring onions, coriander, basil, carrots, onions, sprouts, broccolli, lettuce and some vine tomatoes in a hanging basket.
I`ve planted everything in pots and only done a bit of each to see how well things go, so i`m looking forward to those when they start sprouting.

I moved 3 railway sleepers yesterday and it nearly killed me, as i was on my own i had to use a crowbar and an old stepping stone as something to use the bar against, it took almost 2 hours to move them little by little but i`m very pleased with the result. Hopefully today i can get the big stone patio circle moved and re-bedded and make a start on some other bits and bobs.
We had a lovely big salad for tea last night, i didn`t feel like making the tortillas to go with it when i came indoors but i made myself do it and afterwards i was glad. Tonights meal will be tuna & pasta bake and the sauce is already made and in the freezer so that will be nice and easy.
    Best get out there.
    Have a good day everyone.

Planning on starting the GC again soon :p

    Morning all..

Haven't caught up on the last of yesterdays thread yet but has Pippad had her baby yet??

Bit cloudy here again. I felt quite cold yesterday had to pop on a jumper, same again this morning.

My DD(17) also used to try to squirm out of tidying her room always used to go out and come back too late or if she did managed to start tidying she would get everything out of boxes to *sort* through and make more mess, so I usually ended up doing it to save time and stress on my part.

Haven't been into town for a couple of days so this morning i shall go for a wander, its market day maybe find some bargains.

:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: to all in need.

    Good morning everyone,

Havnt read the thread yet, will do that when i get back from the school run, but ((HUGS)) to anyone who needs one xx

Raining here today, so will be driving to school (so have an extra 10 minutes before we have to leave the house!!!). My leg is feeling fine today, im thinking it might be all the walking im doing - when the weather changed i started wearing my sandals which are dead flat, so i think maybe thats why. Im glad it isnt hurting today, or i wouldve gone to the doctors, was very painful!

Not much planned for today, will have 1 LO here so wont be too busy.
Will be making some lamb burgers and bread rolls for dinner tonight (all HM) and i want to clean the kitchen floor, but thats about it for today.

mrs mix :grouphug: hope you had an ok night, still thinking of you xx

    Taplady :hello: Shez :hello:

AB - glad the hospital appt went ok yesterday, hope you are a bit more comfortable today x

Hope to be back later - hope everyone has a lovely day,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

dd(11) tells me from time to time that she was not put on this earth to do housework - it's a jolly good thing then that I was. Her 22yo sister is the worst though - her room looks like a Kim and Aggie Before picture - it is knee deep in washing which at some point - usually just when the basket is clear - will materialise - half of it will be clean but there is little way of knowing which was which. i don't do her washing but it's all the towels and bedding that will be dumped. I have been too soft on them really because I was a Little Mummy as a kid, my Mum being mostly Tired and Emotional, so I wanted them to have a proper childhood - sigh - we can never get it right can we - I think I'm going to do a Tru once SATS week is over. Its only Maths from now on in which dd is looking forward to -

Patched my back tyre for the fifth time last night so methinks it's time to splash out on a new innner - I will leave a bit later this am and go to the bike shop - i had a horrid row just before I left w*rk last night so I'm in no rush to get in.

Hugs to Mrs Mix, Annie and PP and anyone else having horrid weeks
I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 2008

    Good morning everyone :hello:

Sending loving thoughts and thinking of everyone on here who needs them. I know how much I appreciated all the messages and virtual hugs I got when mum was ill and died, it does make a difference. :kisses3:

House now sold and money is in the bank so we feel we can relax a bit. I'm taking life very easy at the mo as I feel as though I've been living on my nerves for months.

Off to have a shower and wait for Tesco to deliver my groceries.

    Again - love to all.

    :hello:Good Morning!

((((hugs)))) to Mrs Mix, PP, Smoky, Aussielass and Sister, AB and anyone else who could use one.

Got up early and walked the puppy round the field, needed a cardi as it is chilly out there today and the sky looks ominous with rain on the way. I was hoping to get some more done in the garden today. Yesterday I planted out 14 runner beans in their protective (loo roll inners) collars! also sowed some spring onions and radishes and put some pretty flowers in. I also now have a veg bed ready for more runner beans and some spinach beet and chard.

W**k today and am so not looking forward to it, which is a shame as I used to love it. I will try to lift the atmosphere if I can as it will be the children that will pick up on it and that's not fair on them.(I will not get stressed, I will not get stressed!) I may well be giving it up at the end of the summer term as we have a new head and big (and in my view unworkable:rolleyes:) changes. This will mean me giving up my little car as the job keeps that on the road for me, I now have a neat shopping trolley with a little seat on the back for when I get tired, and an Aldi not too far away so will have to manage. DD won't be too pleased though as she is on my insurance and sometimes gets to drive my car.

Got to do a "core ingredients" list and menu plan as we are off to Costco tomorrow for a general re-stock of larder (l love their coffee) and also for some bits for the barbecue, my fault if it rains at the weekend, sorry!

    Catz x

    Morning everyone.

I'm so glad you slept Mrs Mix. Being exhausted won't help you get through this difficult time.

Aussie, I'm sending good vibes for you and your sis. My Dad and stepmum have both had stents put in and it really improved their health.

Hope you have a new addition by now PippaD.

    Enjoy your long weekend PennyPen.

AB, I'm glad you were able to have such a quick and simple procedure yesterday. You'll be up and about in a couple of days. ;)

PennyPincher. I'm still unsure what your op is for this week but I presume it's to take the biopsy you talked about a few weeks ago. I've had way more than my fair share of general anaesthetics over the years and 2 biopsies (one of which ended my bikini days:rolleyes: ) Everyone gets scared but you are a seasoned hospital patient like me so you know you'll be ok. ;)

I've been too busy to post lately as I'm trying to cut all non essential costs so that has meant extra time in the kitchen and the garden growing and making my own. My shoulder/neck is giving me hell but I can't face an appointment for it atm. Maybe next week.
We all got hit by a nasty bug the night before last which left the whole family vomiting and weak for 24 hours. OH is better and has returned to work today. The girls are still to ill to go back to school and I just feel washed out. But we're off to Ireland in the morning and are going via MIL's so need to leave today. It's all very poor timing. Looking forward to seeing Pink though. :j

Oh, and I'm a whole 8 years married today. And they said it wouldn't last eh? :D

Take care everyone, especially Pam and smoky

happy anniversary Haribo - nice to have a celebration on the boards after all the recent sad news :D

talking of which - How are you getting on Pippa D???????????????????????? Any baby yet (I imagine there must be)?

Well, was up early and WM on second load. Salmon defrosting - having that with veggies and brown rice for dinner tonight. going to marinade it in teriaky sauce stuff i found lurking at the back of the cupboard

enjoying my last few days of freedom before work starts - lots of perusing the boards, watching daytime tv, organising the house and knitting/pattern hunting etc.

Right - off to read a few more threads and then tackle our paperwork pile. My goal is to get finished before lunch :D
