I think the real managers should read it, not the so called managers but those in head office.
Wonder if one of the ordinary managers will tell them to read this? Or is it more than their jobs worth.0 -

If you have been refunded due to being overcharged you have received that item free of charge. You can take it back and make a complaint if it proves unsatisfactory in any way BUT if you try and get a reimbursement of money you have not spent then that is FRAUD.
So the if the item is faulty and you ask for a replacement, and they don't have it in stock, what are you going to do ?????0 -
Also what do you do on BOGOFS if one of your items is unsatisfactory ?????
In the context that you are getting one of these items for free, so it's alright if one is rubbish ???0 -

They'll be issuing all customer service counters with ready reckoners!!
Lets face it the average Tesco C/S assistant cannot read and understand a four foot sign what chance have they got of working out half of £1.06 if one of your bagettes has got a bakers finger in it! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
so er, are the misprice policy same for tesco internet shopping?0

If they actually USED the policy any pricing error would be rectified in one working day at the most,
Customer spots a mistake, trots to customer services, gets refund and replace, customer services removes offending product or label and alerts upline, information fed back up through chain of command to relevant point at HQ and is immediately cascaded downwards regionally to branches, all branches act on information received and report back to HQ once resolved, HQ contact all branches unconfirmed within one hour and demand response not later than 1hr before close of busines or 5pm. job done!
What actually happens is customer spots a winner manager refunds (mutters a few expletives under breath) and life goes on!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -

Answer it yourself.
If you haven't paid any money, you are not out of pocket.
If you are not out of pocket, what claim do you have?
I suspect none, not even a replacement.
Don't get me wrong. I'm getting what I can out of this but common sense has to be used and there are a lot of views being expressed here at the moment which hardly come into that bracket let alone within the law.0 -

In the case of BOGOF for instance, you may argue that as the second item is free it has no value in the refund stakes, actually it is not free, your bargain is for two items in exchange for a certain amount of cash (or coupons  ) if one fails or is not fit for purpose your bargain has been reduced and you therefore have redress for its value of the bargain, ie 50% of purchase price paid, but as I said this would prove extremely difficult for the average Tesco C.S assistant to calculate once the price went into more than two digits!Four guns yet only one trigger prepare for a volley.Together we can make a difference.0 -
Dear Te$co Manager...reading this.
Please will you sort out a misprice on the rib eye. I am really really fed up with the rump steak that you regularly mis price.
I have searced for the rib eye errors with no luck. Also well done with the nivea, this must be the CLEANEST forum on the net.We have enough of the stuff.
One more thing can you ask the C.S. desk staff to remember its not their money out of their pocket they are refunding..Onwards and Upwards0
