I have waited weeks,
I've been signed up to onetel for well over a month but still no sign of my free digital camera.

Today I phoned to complain.
They said if I go to a comet store with my account number and customer number that they would sort it out for me
Comet said they new nothing about it

I got them to call onetel to try and get them to explain it as they did to me and this time they said they knew nothing about free digital cameras and gave me Comet gave me an 0870 number to call
Lo and behold its just taking me back to onetel
So I have been full circle and got nowhere. Infuriated by my lost time having gone out of my way and subsequentally being too late for other things I had planned. I can only say comet are useless

hi did you go into a comet store to sign up? if not phone onetel to cancel and walk into a comet store and they give you the camara there and then. idid this and now changed to aol.talk no problems changing companys. free digital camera, no bill. saved £59 on the camera now being sold as a concord at superdrug. :T

It seems this deal has ended or is about to end. I just went into Comet to register for this deal and after going through the registration the lady used the favourite phrase 'this offer is not on our system' (computer says no...). Fortunately they were kind enoughy to give me the camera anyway because it was all taking quite a long time to register.

So make sure you check before you sign up.

trust me - onetel are useless too, in my experience :mad: ! i called them 5 times to cancel yet they still decided to send me a bill charging me for line rental & caller id, even though I am with BT :rolleyes: :mad: !

In the end I just cancelled the direct debit - hopefully I won't get any more bills!
