Have now tried the camera - quite nice really. Only poor aspect is the long delay before it actually takes a photo.

BTW all offers like this have a 7 days to allow you to change your mind?

I suppose you could try in a comet store - fill in the form, take the camera, hope they don't ask for it back - but you would probably have to lie on the form - and it's very dishonest.

Ok how about this for an idea. Just noticed a big sign offering a 5 megapixel camera for free or a 1 gig mp3 player when you sign up for $ky at Comet. Haven't managed to find a leaflet with any small print and there is no info on the Comet website about this. (the site gives some info on Sky, but you can't even buy it online)

Camera was also made by IT works I think. If anyone is going near a Comet store please can you investigate?

Closing date was 29th September i think.

i got the DVD player last time and have just got the camera! as long as it isn't the same Comet person you signed up with the first time you should be ok !

thanks for this i got my camera but on the display stand in comet it stated if canceled within 28 days comet have the right to ask for camers back,when do i cancel?

Staff, Comet won't ask for the camera back. I was told this by a member of staff when signing up. You cancel after 10 days and the camera is yours.

Do you think they would ask for the free 5 megapixel camera back that you get when you subscibe to Sky?
