Does anyone know if you can still use your existing broadband providor if you switch from a bt line to onetel? I am with metronet.

Hi mdb99jh,
We have BT Broadband and it's not a problem because you don't actually have to swap your line rental over to Onetel - we just swapped our call charges to them - we're still renting the line from BT, just paying call charges to Onetel. The service is free and although Onetel Standard line rental is slightly cheaper than BT for us we have some features (Caller ID etc) that we wanted to keep and Onetel would charge extra for them.
We can also over-ride Onetel by dialling 1280 before a calll should we want to.

Yay! Got my camera today. It's just what I was looking for - an all right digital camera with a screen that I can safely take out for parties and things. Feel a bit guilty as I will probably just cancel the OneTel service.

Don’t these people ever learn? I would give this a go but only just signed-up to the last deal Comet were doing with One.Tel + free DVD. I think this would be pushing my luck a bit don’t you think.
